Healing with COHOBA

Psychedelic-Positive clinicians offering Integrated Care, Community Education, and Cultural Stewardship

COHOBA is NC’s first psychedelic-positive, BIPOC-led nonprofit organization, dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health and somatic care through counseling, massage therapy, and community arts programming. We abide by a micro-mezzo-macro philosophy, focusing on direct care, collaborative community programming, and advocacy.  We believe the arts are an integral part of our approach to wellness and are proud to be located within the VAPA Center. As part of our advocacy efforts, we champion responsible drug policy reform. As founding members of the North Carolina Psychedelic Policy Coalition, we work to repair the harms caused by criminalization and prohibition.

Committed to providing legal access to psychedelic therapies, we are a team of clinicians operating within a multimodal framework, and complying with existing legal structures. Our goal is to expand access to psychedelic therapies while ensuring the necessary oversight and accountability within a therapeutic setting. Currently, our clinical services include harm reduction and integration, as well as general mental health counseling -you can book a consultation with us today. Join our advocacy efforts by attending our Psychedelic Society meetings, where we foster dialogue and connection. Follow us on social media to stay informed and be part of our journey.

Cohoba is a BIPOC-led 501c3 nonprofit composed of licensed mental health clinicians, massage therapists, advocates and artists.

Our team of therapists at COHOBA is committed to excellence in psychedelic-assisted therapy. Each member has undergone rigorous training and holds certifications from leading institutions in the field of psychedelic therapy, ensuring the highest standards of care.
